What Does NSFAS Mean?

NSFAS stands for the National Student Financial Aid Scheme, a South African government initiative that is mapped to help less privileged students to be able to have access to education. The funds cover tuition fees, accommodation, living allowances, and books and study materials. The motive of NSFAS(National Student Financial Aid Scheme) is not to prevent capable students from having access to tertiary education. Only South African students who are registered at a public university are eligible.
