Application Requirements for Venda University Online Application

Applicants are to get the following requirements and documents ready during the application process:

Essential For Degree:

•  The minimum admission requirement is a National Senior Certificate (NSC) as certified by the Council for General and Further Education and Training (Umalusi) with an achievement rating of 4 (adequate achievement, 50-59%) or better in four subjects chosen from the recognized 20-credit NSC subjects.
•  Applicants must have a minimum point score of 26.
•  A grade 12 certificate with a bachelor or matric exemption is required if grade 12 has been achieved.

Necessity For Diploma:

•  The minimum admission requirement is a National Senior Certificate (NSC) as certified by Umalusi with an achievement rating of 3 (moderate achievement, 40-49%) or better in four recognized NSC 20-credit subjects.

Prerequisite For Certificate:

•  The minimum admission requirement is a National Senior Certificate (NSC), which is certified by Umalusi.
•  To be considered for admission to specific programs, applicants must have the appropriate combinations of recognized National Senior Certificate subjects as well as certain levels of achievement in these subjects.

The following are the process to follow to apply for admission to Venda University:

• All applicants, including undergraduates, postgraduates, South African, and international applicants, must apply online.
• Applicants will need a South African ID number, cell phone number, and email address.
• You can save your progress during the online application process and return later to complete it.
• Applicants must create a 5-digit PIN.
• Scan and upload a copy of your ID document or passport, Grade 11 report, or statement of
• Grade 12 results, or copy of Matric Certificate.
• Complete your application by pressing the ‘submit’ button.
