Students who fail to get accommodation on campus must look for alternative accommodation somewhere. Please note that paying an upfront initial deposit for student residence does not mean you will be allocated a loan. How To Apply For Residence At University Of Zululand 2026
The University of Zululand cares about its student life, and they have an affordable, safe, and healthy environment for students to relax in and enjoy their stay on campus. Both returning and registered students can apply for accommodation through the online self-service platform at a date announced by the department each year. Successful applications for residence are subject to the residence placement criteria
It’s mandatory for a student who is accepted to the residence to also complete the residence registration form to avoid room forfeiture. its mandatory for students to register for accommodation at the beginning of each academic year. failure to register will result in your room being given out to someone. both postgraduate and international students must adhere to this directive.
University Of Zululand Residence Admission Condition 2026
The head of the department in question must confirm in writing to the Student Housing section that the postgraduate student is necessary to stay during the long-term recess to research before the student can stay behind for research-based activities. No student will be permitted to stay in residence halls during the June and December recess periods without this confirmation.
