Application Requirement for SMU

A non-refundable application fee of R300
A certified copy of your ID or birth certificate
A certified copy of your final Grade 11 results or National Senior Certificate (NSC)
Official academic records from previous universities attended
Proof of payment for application
A diploma or degree certificate
A comprehensive academic record
A certificate of registration with the relevant professions council (if applicable)
A motivational letter and CV (for Public Health and MPharm applicants)
An SAQA evaluation certificate for students with non-South African qualifications

Complete the application form
Pay the non-refundable application fee
Upload required documents

Log onto the portal using your student number and pin
Once logged in, click on Academic Application from the left menu
Click again on certificate seen, this is where you need to upload any outstanding documents.
