How Do I Open a Google Adwords Manager Account

If you need specific guidance on ad creation or tips on managing ads, follow these steps to create a Google Adwords account.

  • Visit The Manager’s website,
  • click on Create a Manager account
  • Name your manager’s account, this name will reflect on the merchant site
  • select how to use the account, if you wish to manage an account on behalf of other advertisers, select “Manage other people’s accounts”.
  • Select your country and time zone.
The time zone you select is used for reporting and billing, and you can’t change it later. We recommend that you choose the time zone your business is based in.
  • permanent currency for your account billing has to be selected.
We recommend that you choose the currency you use for business. Sub-accounts are billed in their currencies.
  • Click SUBMIT.

Your Google Ads account is now set up, and your first campaign is ready to go live once it’s approved by Google.

How To Link A Google Ads Account To A Mcc Account

After you have opened an MCC or manager Account, you can link other existing accounts to it, follow these steps to link up an account;

  • Login to your Google Ads Manager account
  • On the main page of your MCC account, click the Settings menu and then click the Sub-account settings option.
  • now click the floating action button to display additional commands
  • choose the link existing account from the list of commands
  • After clicking you will be asked to enter customer IDs of the users you wish to add. A customer ID is used as identification of the user. the ID consists of a 10-digit number which is found on the user’s profile.
  • complete the process by clicking the send request button to send an invitation to the account you have added. Recipients will receive notification about the request and may accept or reject it.

How To Unlink An MCC Account From Your Google Adwords Account

If you already have a normal Google Ads account and wish to remove manager access, here are the steps to follow;

  • Open your Google Ads Account
  • click on the tools icon found at the top-right side of your screen
  • Click on and open up the Setup menu.
  • Select Access and Security.
  • Select Managers
  • Find the manager account you want to remove and select Remove Access on the right side.

Note; you will be required to confirm this decision. after confirmation, you and your MCC holder will be notified that the account has been disconnected.
