Does Facebook Fully Delete Your Account?

Yes, Facebook can permanently delete your account. When you request to delete your account, Facebook gives you 30 days to change your mind. During this period, you can log back in and cancel the deletion. If you do not, Facebook will permanently erase your profile, posts, photos, and any other content you have shared.

If it is been less than 30 days since you started the deletion, you can still cancel the process. After 30 days, your account and all associated information will be permanently deleted, and you won’t be able to recover it.
It can take up to 90 days from the start of the deletion process to fully remove everything you’ve posted.

However, copies of your data may still exist in Facebook’s backup storage for recovery purposes, such as in cases of disaster, software errors, or data loss. Additionally, messages you have sent to others may remain in their accounts. If you want to reactivate your Facebook account, you can do so at any time by logging back in or using your Facebook credentials to log in to another app or service.
