The CPUT Online Library is the digital resource hub provided by the Cape Peninsula University of Technology (CPUT). It gives students, staff, and researchers access to a wide variety of academic materials and support tools, all available online. These resources include databases, e-journals, e-books, and other scholarly content, ensuring that users can study and conduct research from anywhere, whether on or off campus.

The library offers access to numerous academic databases covering disciplines such as life sciences, engineering, social sciences, and more. It also provides a range of e-journals, e-books, and other publications to support learning and research.

Additionally, users can access research tools, citation guides, tutorials, and methodologies to assist in academic work. To further support students’ learning, the library offers study guides and instructional videos. By providing remote access to these resources, the CPUT Online Library makes academic research and learning more flexible and accessible for everyone involved.

CPUT Online Library Opening And Clsioing Date 2026

The Bellville Library will operate on vacation hours starting 2 December 2025. These hours will be in effect from 2 to 20 December 2025, and again from 6 to 31 January 2026. Please note that these hours are subject to change. The library will be closed on 16 December 2025, for the Day of Reconciliation.
