CPUT Online Application Status 2026-2027
CPUT Online Application Status 2026-2027
The Cape Peninsula University of Technology (CPUT) has introduced a streamlined online tracking system to help applicants for the 2026-2027 academic year easily monitor the status of their applications. Developed by CPUT Web Developer Lovemore Nalube, in collaboration with Kuselwa Marala, Director of Academic Administration, and Llwellyn Appel, Acting Coordinator of the Admissions and Registration Centre, this system was designed to provide clear, accessible updates on application progress.
Accessible through the CPUT homepage under the ‘Study at CPUT’ section, the Application Tracking System allows applicants to check their application status—whether they’ve been accepted, provisionally accepted, not accepted, or if their application is still under review. It also provides detailed information on the campus and course they applied for.
For added convenience, the tracker is available on CPUT’s Facebook page, enabling applicants to check their status directly through social media. Looking ahead, a mobile app version will be launched for even easier access. To use the system, visit: www.cput.ac.za, click on “Study at CPUT,” enter your ID number, passport, or student number and full first name as per your application, then click “GET MY APPLICATION STATUS” to view your application updates for the 2026-2027 academic year.
