The Mowbray campus of the Cape Penisula University of Technology is currently accepting applications into undergraduate and postgraduate programs for the 2026 academic year. The university’s official website has the online application form available for download by all interested high school graduates of South Africa and other countries. However, select programmes have extended deadlines until 13 January 2025. Some programmes will only be available to returning CPUT students from 7 January 2025 to 10 January 2025, while applications for Full Research Master’s and Doctoral Degrees in Postgraduate Studies will remain open until 14 March 2025. CPUT Mowbray Online Application Date 2026

The online application must be completed on the official website of the university during the application period. Provided below is the application date at CPUT for the 2026 academic year;

General Applications: Open from May to September 2025.
Extended Deadlines: Select programmes will accept applications until 13 January 2025.
Returning CPUT Students: Certain programmes will be available for returning students between 7 January 2025 and 10 January 2025.
Postgraduate Studies (Full Research Master’s & Doctoral Degrees): Applications remain open until 14 March 2025.

NB: Prospective students must ensure their online applications are completed and submitted before the relevant closing dates, as late applications will not be accepted.

CPUT 2026 applicants are required to pay the following amounts as application fee:

Online Applications: No application fee is required.
Manual Applications: R100 fee applies.
Late Manual Applications: R150 fee applies.

Required Documents To Apply Online At CPUT Mowbray 2026

Certified copies of the following documents are required to complete the online application for the 2026 academic year at CPUT Mowbray;

South African Applicants:

A certified copy of the first page of your Identity Document or Birth Certificate.
A certified copy of your Senior Certificate or equivalent qualification. If you are currently in Grade 12, please submit your marks obtained in Grade 11.
Certified copies of the original Academic record and Certificate of Conduct, or certified copies of other certificates/ diplomas/ degrees you obtained previously from any other higher education institution.

International Applicants

Permanent Residency Applicants: Passport and proof of Permanent Residency or South African ID.
Refugee/Asylum Seekers: Temporary permit or formal recognition of refugee status in South Africa.
Passport.
School-Leaving Certificate (with English translation if not in English).
Congo-Brazzaville Applicants: Liste des Admis au Bac and an English translation.
Democratic Republic of Congo Applicants: Sixth-year Bulletin: Diplom D’Etat, journal, transcripts, or embassy confirmation of results.
Angolan Applicants: Portuguese results and an English translation.
Applicants from Gabon, Cameroon, Bangladesh, and Burundi: French results with an English translation.
English Translations: Must be stamped by a sworn translator.
International Nursing Applicants: Approval of nursing qualifications from SAQA, proof of temporary registration with SANC (for two years), and a valid study permit.
