What is Food Technology?

Food Technology applies food science to the selection, preservation, processing, packaging, and distribution of food, ensuring that safe, nutritious, and wholesome food is available to consumers. Food Scientists study the physical, microbiological, and chemical properties of food, using their expertise to develop methods for processing, preserving, packaging, and storing food safely.
