The application portal for Cape Peninsula University of Technology (CPUT) will be open from May to September 2025. Please note the following important deadlines:
- Some programs have extended their application deadline to January 13, 2025.
- Certain programs are only available to returning CPUT students from January 7 to January 10, 2025.
- The application deadline for Full Research Master’s and Doctoral Degrees in Postgraduate Studies will remain open until March 14, 2025.

Admission Requirements To Apply Online At CPUT 2026-2027

Requirements To Apply Online At CPUT 2026-2027
The following documents are required to apply online at CPUT for the 2026-2027 academic year;
For South African Applicants:
- A certified copy of the first page of your Identity Document or Birth Certificate.
- A certified copy of your Senior Certificate or equivalent qualification. If you are currently in Grade 12, submit your Grade 11 marks.
- Certified copies of your original Academic Record and Certificate of Conduct, or certified copies of other certificates, diplomas, or degrees obtained from any previous higher education institution.
For International Applicants:
- Permanent Residency Applicants: Submit a certified copy of your passport and proof of Permanent Residency or South African ID.
- Refugee/Asylum Seekers: Submit a certified copy of your temporary permit or formal recognition of refugee status in South Africa.
- Passport: A certified copy of your passport.
- School-Leaving Certificate: If your certificate is not in English, please provide an English translation.
Specific Requirements for Certain Countries:
- Congo-Brazzaville Applicants: Submit Liste des Admis au Bac along with an English translation.
- Democratic Republic of Congo Applicants: Provide your Sixth-year Bulletin, Diplom D’Etat, journal, transcripts, or embassy confirmation of results.
- Angolan Applicants: Submit Portuguese results with an English translation.
- Applicants from Gabon, Cameroon, Bangladesh, and Burundi: Provide French results with an English translation.
English Translations: These must be stamped by a sworn translator.
For International Nursing Applicants:
- Approval of nursing qualifications from SAQA.
- Proof of temporary registration with the South African Nursing Council (SANC) for two years.
